For Ellcad, 17 years have been (and will always be) a long and tough journey from their humble beginnings to being a reliable construction company in the Philippines that they are today.
For this year, Ellcad split its anniversary celebration into two parts. On August 9th, the company held a blessing ceremony for the soon-to-rise office building and provided food catering for all of the staff and construction workers in order to have a simple but fun lunch together. Of course, the company did not forget about the August birthday celebrants in the Ellcad family and gave them a little birthday treat.
Afterward, the employees stayed at the Sisters of St. John Baptist House of Prayer in Tagaytay City from August 15 to 17 for the company retreat. The company retreat program was titled D Vision: An Integrated Formation Program on Servant-Leadership, facilitated by Mr. Mennen Gonzales, who has been Ellcad’s facilitator for four consecutive company retreats, but what is really great about him is that he tries to make every retreat as different as possible.
Every year, Ellcad tries to look back to appreciate its achievements and reflect on what else is necessary to be done in order to continue growing as a company—and this year is no different.
“It has been a pleasure to be a part of a growing company like Ellcad. Working as one has been our key towards fulfilling our yearly goals. We look forward to meeting more good clients and new employees in the future.” said Ms. Jane Espinase of Ellcad’s management team.
Ellcad promises to renew their passion for designing and building yearly, and to continue being a reliable construction company in the Philippines.
