Elcad’s Taiwan Tour 2018

Ellcad’s Corporate Travel Incentive Program in Taiwan

At Elcad Construction, we believe that investing in our people is the key to our success as a construction company in the Philippines. That’s why we launched a corporate travel incentive program—rewarding our employees with a Taiwan tour for reaching their 2017 performance targets. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen team morale and show appreciation for the people behind our company’s growth.

Why a Corporate Travel Incentive Program Matters

A corporate travel incentive program not only motivates employees but also fosters stronger team bonds outside of work. By rewarding team achievements with shared experiences like travel, companies create lasting memories and loyalty. Elcad’s Taiwan trip reflects our commitment to recognizing hard work with meaningful rewards.

Highlights of the Taiwan Incentive Trip

Exploring Taipei’s Historical and Natural Attractions

Our journey began with a visit to the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a national landmark rich in Taiwanese history. Afterward, the team enjoyed a delicious buffet hotpot dinner—an ideal way to kick off the trip.

The second day brought scenic views at Yangmingshan National Park, where cherry blossoms were in bloom. We also explored the geothermal area of Xiaoyoukeng Park and experienced local culture at Tamsui Old Street. The day concluded with vibrant sights and flavors at Shilin Night Market.

A Day of Adventure and Cultural Discovery

On day three, the team wandered through the narrow lanes of Chiufen, a historic mining village, and witnessed the breathtaking Shifen Waterfall. A highlight was participating in the Sky Lantern Festival at Shifen Old Street, followed by visits to Taipei 101 Mall and the bustling Raohe Night Market. We ended the day with a relaxing dip in the famous Taipei hot springs.

Last-Day Leisure and Shopping

Our final day started with a Sunday Catholic Mass at Holy Family Church. Before heading back to Manila, we stopped at Vigor Kobo Pineapple Cake Factory and Mitsui Outlet Park for some last-minute souvenirs and pasalubong.

The Impact of Travel Incentives on Company Culture

Rewarding employees through a corporate travel incentive program like this is more than just a perk—it’s a way to build a stronger company culture. At Elcad, we recognize that happy, motivated employees are the foundation of our continued success as a fit out contractor in the Philippines.
